Who we do this for

As we come up on 3 days until the Sears National Kids Cancer Ride, we reflect why we do these events – to make a meaningful difference in the life of kids living with cancer.
- Every year, another 1,700 children and adolescents are diagnosed with cancer in Canada.
- More children die from cancer each year than from asthma, cystic fibrosis, muscular dystrophy, congenital anomalies, and pediatric AIDS combined.
- Over 10,000 children in Canada are living with some aspect of cancer or its long-term effects.
Please take a moment to look through our ambassadors page on the national ride website
Read their stories, get involved – let’s help make sure parents never have to hear the words “your child has cancer”
