My toughest challenge with childhood cancer: Adjusting to life with one eye and the challenges that go along with wearing a prosthetic.

Describe some great things that have come about through your journey of childhood cancer: I have so much support from family and friends who’ve all gone above and beyond to show me how much they love me.  I was also the youngest survivor ever to participate in the Milton Relay for Life so I got to cut the opening ceremonies ribbon with the mayor and everyone cheered for me as I ran around the track for the survivor’s lap.

Describe your Best Day: My best day was last Halloween when I got to dress up as Batman and go trick or treating.

Tell us about your Worst Day: My worst day was waking up in the hospital scared and confused following the enucleation of my left eye.

Tell us what Coast to Coast Against Cancer means to me

It makes me feel good to know that there are people working tirelessly to help families like mine by spreading awareness and raising money to help fight children’s cancers.

Tell us what your message is to our riders, volunteers, sponsors and all Canadians

I’m so grateful that you have made such a huge commitment to support the fight against childhood cancers.  It’s people like you that give us all hope that we will find a cure.
