There is no stopping Sally Gordon!

Like her son, Hamish one of the riders on the Coast-to-Coast ride, she is a determined and energetic character who makes the most of every single day. Sally has faces two bouts of breast cancer and both times, she refused to let it interfere with her busy summers in Chester, Nova Scotia. The first time, in 1984, well before short hospital stays were in vogue, she checked herself out the day after surgery (and a full mastectomy). Then years later, when the cancer returned, she went on a canoe trip the week of her surgery. The girl had plans!! This positive attitude, love of life and her total self acceptance as a one-breasted woman has made Sally – Goggy – an inspiration to her friends, family and her loving grand-daughters.
