Catherine MacRae died at age 58
Mississauga Ontario

My mother lived with breast cancer (and eventually other related cancers) for 11 years. Enough time for me to go from being a 17 year old kid to a 28 year old woman with a totally different perspective on life and its’ fragility. My mother, Catherine was a phenomenally strong woman and she set the bar pretty darn high with respect to rising to the challenge and not feeling sorry for herself. She was warm and loving and put family as her first priority. If my sister and I can be half the woman she was we will have turned out OK. My mother died a few months before I got married…she would have been proud to know of my husbands involvement with the Coast to Coast ride…
