The Coast to Coast Against Cancer Foundation (CTCACF) which operates Tour For Kids, The Inside Ride, and the Sears National Kids Cancer Ride, is dedicated to improving the quality of life and the survival rates of children and adolescents with cancer. The Foundation through its primarily volunteer-based operating model distributes 100% of every dollar raised by individual contributors to the charities and programs supported. Coast to Coast Against Cancer Foundation organizes a series of high quality, physically energizing fundraising events that support transition and survivorship programs, research and education initiatives, as well as paediatric oncology camps. In Canada, over 10,000 children live with cancer or its long term effects, with an additional 1,700 children diagnosed with cancer each year.
While I have supported many worthy charities, this one takes on a very personal meaning. Many years ago, while I was playing football at the University of Toledo, my 5 year old brother Bryant lost his fight against cancer. While not understanding it all, I knew there was something more I could do. Well the time is now.
